This post was meant to describe the google dance people have been seeing. But it did not clear things up for me at all, to be honest.
Well, in my niche the serps did dance more than I'm used to seeing them dance (though the top 10 was pretty normal). It just seems strange that this is just a normal part of the continuous update thing. So yes - I understand there wasn't a specific, new update - but why the dance then?
There was no dance. Google fluctuates all the time. It's called "everflux" - that's what Matt was (once again) saying in the blog entry.
MC is full of crap or he is just blowing smoke up you know where. If it is "just updates" then there are big things going on every day since visitors to one of my site fluctuate between 20,000 a day down to 9,000 a day over night. Not sure how everyday updates can do this but according to MC that is just normal. Strange thing is that all the dates he mentioned is when my site has been hit by this everflux. I understand that new sites are added and other sites gets dumped but, WTH???
