Explain The Blog Phenomenon

I've always wondered how blogs went form nothing to something in two seconds. No one can figure it out but it seems blogs pulled a good one out of the hat. What do you think are some causes as to the recent hike in blogging interests?

It's called the 100th monkey syndrome. Look it up if you don't know what it means.

 

Blogs have been happening since the 90's so they're pretty ancient in terms of internet years.

 

They maybe pretty ancient but they have come into limelite recently

Blogging is an easy way to update your websites (Now referred to as blogs)
And probably that's one main reason that people have started blogging

 

I think I read on Thursday a new one is started every 2 seconds.

 

More people wanting a voice on the net, idunno. It's more personal as well making it useful for backend sales.

 

Gossip in written form instead of in voice. We are living in an info society so blogs follow.

 

Blogging has over grown static content in the Web 2.0 era.
