I've searched google and these forums and I cant seem to find a clear answer.

Do google pay me more for each click if I have a high click through rate?

    Cheers

The price per click depends on the ads, not the CTR. If you get $0.20 per click and 1% CTR you get $2 eCPM, if you get 2% CTR your CPC is still $0.20 but your earnings have doubled to $4 eCPM.

The price of the click depends on what someone is willing to pay for it. If it's an add for lawyers they could pay high because traffic for a lawyer can be highly profitable so they can pay higher for the traffic.

If it's an add for a game however, it might pay low because the area/topic is less profitable for the person purchasing the traffic.
