I have a quick question. I looked up a domain name it it said that it was taken. I did a WHOIS on the domain and came up with:

    Record created on 2006-11-11 14:50:35.
    Record expires on 2007-11-11 14:50:35.

Shouldn't I be able to register it now?

no, you have to backorder it (in most cases in snapnames.com, pool.com or namejet.com) and wait...

after nov 11 the name can be still renewed by the woner but theres a fee besides the reg fee... so you have to wait to see if the name will really dropped but you can backorder it already cause it costs nothing

i think that if it wont be renewd you can have it on february 2008

but if you and more people backorder it there will be an auction for 3 days, so if the name is really good you will need deep pockets

    good luck with it

Thanks for that info. Its not a name most would want... its the name of a car... and only 56 were produced so there shouldn't be too much competition.

how long after RedemptionPeriod and Pending Delete status it gets available for register and just pay a regular register fee if it doesn't fall in auction.
