So you would buy expired domains just because others do ? Neato, i like that idea..err no hold on, that makes no sense. Lets give a sense to all this.

PR domains = domains that do have backlinks = traffic domains, whats the cost of a domain now days ... $7,95 ? For a PR5 domain it must have a decent traffic or a well build backlinks schedule for his/her site, so...there is traffic, how much can't be determined actually, maybe 100 a month maybe 100 a day, yet, 100 unique hits for $7,95/yr is NOTHING, consider that traffic FREE of cost. One day, once you will notice the traffic is dropping you can always sell the domain (if it is a decent domain that can enter in someone's interest) <--- all that, if the domain is related to the content of your site (you can check the archive of the domain for that). Otherways, build quickly some pages for that domain with some content (based always on the archives) place your adsense ads...and enjoy the free traffic and the new clicks on your $0 cost domain.

Wait, for what else can you use such domains, oh true...as developed web site (which will still be PR5) you can always get a linkback from a PR5 site to your main site, uh huh....

Cheers, i ain't sharing no more informations (oh heck, i said all,or almost all that can be said regarding this).

If your registrar offers back ordering option yes, but keep in mind, people that hunt domains will back order that same domain that is of their interest in more then one back ordering service providers.

GoDaddy.com backorders for $18.99 and if they dont get it they will let you change your backorder over to another domain at no extra charge.
