Hi, I am interested in buying a domain that is due to expire. It was used for about the domain names purpose from 2003-2007 when the business was sold and converted into so thing else. So I am fairly sure it wont be renewed.
Does anyone know the best way to get the domain and still keep its age?

Basically I want to buy the domain but maintain its registered date of 2003. I guess once it actually does expire then if I register it its registered date is new?

It doesnt have any back links or PR so its not really worth much to many people. Its value to me is in its age, so any ideas on maintaining the age, as the owners are not traceable???

    Cheers for any help.

The only way to maintain original registration date is to purchase from the current owner. If it drops and you pick it up, the registration starts over.
