I’ve a question regarding SEO on how to expire certain contents. e.g. Most of the holiday packages on a website expire in a week or two but search engines are still picking them up. Is there an expire meta-tag that i need to use for the contents to be expired after a certain time? Thanks.
You can do a few different things, why remove content that still gets search traffic? You can either 301 redirect the web page to your domain name to keep any link value, you can actually redirect it to a new package that is currently live or redevelop the page with ads to make some extra revenue.
