I didn't understand your question completely. Check out the daily expired domains.. Use some tool which shows the PR of the domains..
Yes There are many ways, Once you transfer the doamin you loose PR , Just do not make much sense to buy or get for only PR. I learnt it by giving a try only. I got PR 7 domain , after one month it lost PR after transfer. Roxy
If a domain has PR but all the old links are 301'ed to another site then the PR will be lost pretty quick. Also the PR may be fake......
Google resets everything about a website/page once it changes owner, as far as I know. If the links stay in place, you can still benefit from them, but not in terms of Google PR. That doesn't happen with MSN, Yahoo, etc. So don't register a domain just because it has some PR...
i dont think google resets everything about a website if it changes owner...i mean then none of those bog takeovers like youtube or flickr would take place!
I don't think it is good idea to buy a domain name with PR alone, and also an expired domain name start lossing the PR once it get expired or deleted from the registry.
If people don't know how to treat the PR site, yes they will loose it but it's not a rule that expired names loose their PR I sold before some time about 30-40 names with PR2-PR4 that kept their PR for 10 months even if i had them parked (until the time i sold them) and this is not the only example
This is not true. I have purchased more than 10 websites each with different PR and the PR did not dissapeared. It all depends on the links.
I bought a PR3 domain for around $15 some time back, the PR dropped to zero in 2 months, but i earned a lot in those 2 months.. made around $300 dollars... i could've earn more, but u knw, i was a bit lazy..lolzz
if you buy domain names that are registered privately, pr will not down, if it continues to private registered by you.
i think you guys didn't lose pr because of the transfer. the pr dropped because the site lost it's content , so it lost also some good backlinks
