Expired Domains: How to "catch" all backlinks and traffic?

    Hi DP,

I recently snapped a couple of expired domains which still have backlinks showing in some search engines, not in google though.

What's the "proper way" of catching these backlinks and traffic to redirect to an existing document? I assume HTTP 301 redirection is a method that could be used but will the backlinks propagate by using this?

    thanks in advance

I "see" backlinks propagating using 301's.

This is on domain names that I own and changed to new domain names.

    That's good news.

Can you direct me towards a "global 301" that'd work?

search for 301 redirect and you'll find it discussed quite a bit.
