Expired domain names, when do they back on the market?

I am watching a domain name that I want to buy. Well, it expired yesterday - July 17th. Here it is July 18th and its not up for sale. First thing this morning I checked to see if it was back on the market and its not. It still shows to be registered to the same person, and it shows to have expired last night.

So how long do I have to wait before the domain goes back on the market after it expires??

The first stage of an expired domain goes through is the registrar hold. This is a period of up to 45 days where the registrar may pay the renewal fee for the domain in the hope that the expired domains owner registers the domain name again.

The registrar may wait the full 45 days or decide to let the registry know sooner that the domain fee has not been paid. This means the name goes into the redemption period which lasts for 30 days.

So it could be up to 75 days before the domain goes back on the market?? Maybe even 76 days if they wait the full 75, then on the next day put it back up for sale?

Go to the TDNAM part of Godaddy's site or PM me the name and I can check there. I buy up expiring ones all the time.
