Expiration Date for the BST

I would like to suggest that DP has an expiration date for the BST sections to keep it more current. Maybe all threads will be closed after 14 days. I see threads being commented on that are 300 plus days old. This just adds clutter to the already cluttered forum.

I think this would clear up a lot of post padding by members who spend all their time replying "send me details" with no intention of buying anything. It will also help when looking to buy or sell something so you know the offer is current.

 

I'm pretty sure this was already asked. But the problem is that some threads are popular (sales without end dates). If you see someone bumping old sales threads that have been dead for a while, just report the post. And if you see people saying things like "send me details" report that too, and we'll try to deal with it - we'll be cracking down sooner rather than later on the people asking for these kinds of bumps, so hopefully it won't be a problem much longer.
