Experts Plz Answer : Alexa Traffic Rant Question.

1. If a domains has an Alexa Traffic Rank (ATR) of 1.731.696, then does the domain has atleast 500 uniques visitirs per day ? 500 uniques/ day or more or less ?

2. If this number ATR is more like 4.000.000 then the traffic is more or if the ATR is 1.000.000 then the traffic is more ?

I mean more the ATR, the more the traffic OR
the more the ATR, the less the traffic ?

3. Can you give an example or a quick way to know the traffic per day of a website if I know it's ATR ?

 

It's very easy to trick alexa rank.
I got my alexa toolbar request crawled by search engines:

I load in in a 0x0 iframe as well as a preloading it in a rel='prefetch' anchor, currently only supported in mozilla :-(

 

Why do You care about Alexa Traffic Rank ?

It's way to easy to manipulate. It is just about worthless.

I bought a domain a few years ago, ran an autohit program from my PC, installed the Alexa Toolbar, and after a few weeks it had an Alexa ranking of about 90.000

 

There was someone used Alexa to "verify" traffic on a domain that I was selling to him. He believed so much in it, and eventually backed out the sale. LOL.
Shame on him, I'm earning almost a K per month from parking.

 

There is a domains for which :

The number of unique pages viewed per user per day for this site

3 mos. Avg.........3 mos. Change
9.0.......................173%

So the 3 months average is 9 unique pages viewed per user per day.

What does it mean ? And what may be the site's daily average traffic ?

I got a traffic domain having about 800 to 1000 unique/day. it's off alexa due to a bad sedo template which redirects all traffic to Sedoparking from my domain. The buyer thought it had no traffic but it actually has almost 1000/day.

One of my sites get 100 visitors per day and has a 500,000 alexa rank. One of my sites gets 300 per day and has a 700,000 alexa rank.

I dont trust it at all.

 

alexa of 1M means nothing - it might be just one visitor per month with alexa toolbar installed

 

Trust the actually stats and links not something like Alexa which relies on their own toolbar users.
If a 100000 daily visitor group has no one have Alexa toolbar installed, the ranking is out of range even if it gets the 100K shots a day.
