    Hi guys;
I need someone to verify this stratergy, will they work to increase traffic?

    1. Create a unique posts
    2. submit the post url to social medias
    3. convert the post into video and submit to video sites
    4. convert post to document (.doc/pdf/power point) and submit to document sites

    Will this stratergy :
    1. increase traffic?
    2. do not harm my current blog ranking?

    Thanks

Sounds like a lot of effort to promote one article, show us a sample article - or post... as all the promotion in the world wont help a bad site or post.

    Yeap, a lot of work.
But when we can levarege it to technology.
Such as, to post to social media, we can just post to ping.fm
For videos, we can just submit it to tubemogul.com
About documents, I'm not sure if there any site that we can just post to one website and it will distribute to all documents site.

I'm not into this stratergy yet, that's why I would like to have some input from DPers here.

It depends o how you implement it. If you don't do it right, you will get traffic, but not to the destination you wanted.

What you mean "do it right".
Any source or post I can refer so I can make sure, will do it right?

    Thanks

Well a lot of people believe that the first source to have the post or article is the one that will be found/indexed in search engines, this is not the case, as some webmasters will create a post on their own site and then copy and paste it to several sources - the truth is that the site with the most authority will get indexed for that article, with a lot of these promotions a lot of the traffic may remain on the given site where the submission is made and wont be of any benefit to you.

Which mean, don't submit the website before the original post is indexed. Like that?

Kind of - even then it doesn't matter if you go submitting your same content around... if you are going to do this method - just ensure all your content is unique and they all lead back to your site and ensure that you gain traffic to your sites/posts... it's no good if you don't get exposure, links back to your site, or the traffic doesn't convert.

It sounds like a good plan to me. Either way, it's all "hit or miss". A lot depends on the subject matter and "interest".

I like the video part of your plan best. In my experience, that's one of the best traffic sources you can find.
