Why is that? Just curious... I already had an offer come in that was way higher than reg fees on healthipad.com so I'm not sure I understand.

You just put words in front of ipad.
    Forumipad.com
    Wordipad.com
    Ninjaipad.com

Like kidsko said only reg fee.

The reason is because you are already infringing on a TM plus, adding names in front of them doesn't do anything more than it does me putting pepsiboathouse.com.

The person who was going to buy for higher than reg fee isn't a smart person, and therefore you should contact them again and tell them you've reconsidered.

    Just my opinion though.

    Reg fee.

    1) Trademark Infringement
    2) Random Words Added
    3) Worthless Domains

If you've got an offer higher then reg fee, you better accept it :)

    BusinessIpad.com isn't bad at all!
Even if I don't understand the hype on the ipad: this domain name will get some attention from the apple loving domainers.
Seeing lousy Ipad names selling at good price (a hundred bucks is good for me) you may have around mid xx to low xxx for it.

If I were you: I would start optimizing it for pagerank to get more attention.

Any advice on how to optimize for page rank? There is so much info out there, it's hard to make sense of it.

Is it a trademark infringement to consider building a business model around the iPad device itself? That's what I have considered doing and it's the intention of the person who wanted healthipad.com.

Who told you these are premium domains?
its just the word ipad added with some other word...
But it all depends on the buyer, cant say you might get lucky...

the only one out of that list of 4 that I see could have any potential is businessipad.com but even that is stretching it

don't mess with Apple's TM. They will just take them away from you if they ever want to.

Apple's gonna getcha for these. Be careful.... even if you sell them quick, you can't erase your tracks. People need to do research before they randomly register domains. ::facepalm::

http://techcrunch.com/2010/01/07/apple-domain-names/ <--- Not sure if this is the one you're talking about, but it's an example.
    http://news.cnet.com/Apple-wins-iTunes-cybersquatting-battle/2100-1030_3-5618589.html <--- Here's one regarding cybersquatting.
http://www.domainnews.com/en/apple-wins-domain-name-case.html <--- Another iTunes one they sued over.
http://www.apple.com/legal/trademark/guidelinesfor3rdparties.html <--- This isn't an example of a case or anything, but it does have a section on Apple's policies regarding registering domains based on their trademarks. Quote: "Domain Names: You may not use an identical or virtually identical Apple trademark as a second level domain name."

Not sure what sort of proof you need, facts are facts.... it's NEVER wise to register a known trademark from any company. Some will get away with it, true, but there's always that chance you could get into some big trouble.

They're all trademark infringements and should be dropped.
