This always happens, I'm having a problem on my computer so I look on Google for the answer and find experts - exchange . com and it drives me nuts because the answer requires paid membership. I can't believe these guys are always so high in the search engines for technical support problems. I don't see how any sane person would link to their site. Can anyone make sense of how they're always so high in the rankings?
haha... thanks. but i do remember before they went to this format about half a year ago, you had to pay to see the solution and they were still on top. i think they went to this new format because of yahoo answers.
aha the age old cloaking of experts-exchange. The answers being at the bottom is just a part of it. They have put lot of hidden content which gets indexed by search engines and normal human beings (me too) have to see the registration page They are very old site (in 11th year now) and they do have some really good content there. so they rank well (and ofcourse the shady stuff)
