Expert witnesses no longer immune

    An excerpt from an interesting article in my copy of ITNow from BCS, the chartered institute for IT, I thought I'd share with you all:

    I'm interested to know why it has taken 500 years for these witnesses to be accountable for their testimony.

    Well, you learn something new every day. I had no idea there was a "Supreme Court" here. I thought it was the "High Court".

    It used to be a judicial committee appointed by the House of Lords. The UKSC replaced it recently.

    The High Court is still around and lower than the UKSC:http://www.judiciary.gov.uk/you-and-the-judiciary/going-to-court/high-court
