Expert Views Needed On Which Handycam to Buy!!

    I am planning to buy a Handycam for myself. Don't know much about it as i am totally new for all this.

    I have a budget of around $250 (10000 INR). Indians suggestions prefer most. If you having one with good results since long time then suggest me please.

    Hope you guide me properly for this :D

    You not gonna get a decent handycam on that budget.
    Anyway, check this from Sony. Cash Price with papers is Rs.13, 870/- (SonyWorld, Kolkata). Gray Market price is Rs. 8,900/- (excluding papers).

    Inquired about that at local store but canon cost start from 15k INR :(

    My view is to go for Sony with papers although it is a little bit more than 10k. It is worth the salt:)

    get anything with at least 1/3" inch sensor. go for dv for easy editting.
