    Hey there,

I have an average size site with about 3000-4000 unique visitors daily with about 10K+ page impressions. but the CTR is quite shocking, at 1.3% CTR. I've tried many different arrangement but 1.3% is the best I can get. im using the 336x280 square ad, tried 728x90 which litterally got me 0% CTR.

So this is probably not for new comers, but need someone with knowledge in the area of marketing or the like to help.

So here's the deal, if someone can help me boost my CTR, i'll pay them 200x the CTR %, so if you increase it to 2%, i'll pay $400, 3%, i'll pay $600, etc..

if you think you can help, please PM me, with a "brief" overview of what you had achieved, i'll reply to those who I think have the ability to help...

I hope this is in the right section?

    Tdotn,

1.3% is not bad for a genuinely passive adsense ad. I've seen figures much lower.

    really?

I thought people would average around 4%

the figures you've seen lower could possibly be because they are not well optimized? that is why I am seeking help :)

Keep it the same way, while you get good traffic, don't think much about CTR, there is quite some ways to increase the CTR, but you'll loose your visitors easily in the near future and just concentrate about the CPC you're getting..

ok, no more PMs please, i'll probably stick with the advice above. I dont think there is much I can do to increase CTR so rather than risking it all, i'll just enjoy what I have now...

    Thanks anyway

The CTR 1.3% is a bit low. Do you only have that one ad, or are you running multiples? Channelling is a technique that I have used with fair return. When I started my first site I had 1 add block banner style at the tope of the page. Google allows several to be used. I found that the very top realy did poorly and then added the right side ads, and a 200x200 box in the content located at the top left and bottom right in the content of the page this got me to 2.7%. I have used a varitey of senorios but the very best opsition in in content left center. Try it and also try right side click ads.
