When it come to listing "keywords"..is it better to add keywords with or without commas? I have been noticing that when it comes to listing keywords there are 3 options (1) Keywords followed by a comma with no space (2) keywords followed with a comma and then one space (3) keywords separated with a space and no comma Any input will be appreciated!
I'm guessing you mean when submitting to directories or something? Basically, I'd say the comma option provides more utility if the site in question allows it. This allows you to have multiple word key phrases. Whether or not you use a space after the comma should make no difference, but I'll usually include it unless I am running out of space.
Thanks Grokodile for the info about directories, (will use your suggestion)...sorry I should have mentioned about comma's in your html "meta" tags(attribute) for when you submit to search engines!
Yeah i was just about to post this. I need help in this guys too. But if you see youtube's keywords they have a comma after every word no space. But if you look on break they have comma and space. So im confused too. - Prilep
I guess every "social site" like youtube has it own rules, policies or quidelines..And yes you are right, it is confusing that is why I am trying to find out if there is a difference or not (basically concerned about the keywords in my content and description tag on my website in regards to search engines)
Yes I realize that (try running google.com through a validator especially W3C lol) I am referring to the keywords for the big boy search engines in my "meta description" maybe "meta content" (for Yahoo etc)
Always separate your keywords with commas followed by space. That would be better both for the designing your webpage (key word description) and also submitting to other directories.
You might as well put "~" sign before your query - and you are getting the semantically relevant result. That is interesting!
