    Hello,
I have created Huge content for one of my blog sites.
Its approx 150-200 original content articles.
Now i am wondering whether i should update my blog site with these topics at the same time or should i update it in parts.
What role does it play in Google / Yahoo ranking and seo.
Initially i was planning to post few of these articles to ezine sites. but right now i am having google search engine rankings for some of my articles higher than these ezine sites too. Should i reconsider the submissions since that would infact create competion with my site and the ezine sites.
Please guide and post your expert comments.
    Thank you.

google has very specific historical markers stored for each page(and site) they index...so that if a site has historically been stable with a base set of pages and then adding new pages over time...(at a reasonable rate)...and all of a sudden .. out of the blue...they see a huge number of pages (new urls) showing up for your site...this could trigger some automated suppression filters...and even a manual review..

Personally I would wait untill the articles have been indexed on your site first before you start submitting them to ezines, that way your site gets credit for the origional content

I agree with vstar. Something else to consider, if your domain was originally registered in 1999 then it's been my experience that Google is more lenient on the site than a site that has just been registered. So many factors are calculated in the Google algorithm that it's impossible to game the system for very long if ever. I would add an article a day for a couple months and then increase to 3 articles every 2 days for another month then 3 articles a day and so on. Just make it gradual. Does anybody else have thoughts on that? Am I too fast or too slow?

    Thanks,

    David

first, i recommand that you update your website gradually, this way you will get the most possible ranking effect, due to the fact that google loves updated and fresh content, also you can submit and syndicate your content, there is absolutely no problem with that however always submit the content (article) in your website first, then wait untill the article is "cached" before submitting to article directories and make sure to add a linkback to your website with each article that you syndicate.

    good luck.
