Does anyone here have experiences with the social bookmarking site delicious.com ?

I am especially interested into it's usefulness as tool for SEO.

Delicious is not intended for SEO. It's NoFollow and you might get some traffic but no SERP boost.
Social bookmarking sites are not the best source of links. Focus on in-content links from "real" sites.
If you use Social Bookmarkign Sites for link building then Digg and other DoFollow sites are better than Delicious.

Thanks for the hint. After checking I realized that it is the case. Given the good functionality it was actually kind of to good to be true.

I am using digg and I think it has already assist me to gain some good boosts in terms of SEO.

Are there any other good bookmarking sites except digg.com ???

Here's why I use del.icio.us.com — most other social bookmarking sites allow a full import of your del.icio.us bookmarked links.

So I use del.icio.us as a master list. Then when I join a new SB site, it is easy to import all my bookmarks from del.icio.us.

Great point. I have noticed that to be the case.

For me, stumbleupon gets the best results for traffic. Of course its very short spurts and if the content is no good then they just leave. I don't think any social bookmarking site will give you great SEO benefits.... you can spend your time better elsewhere.

I have added many wqeb links, squidoo lenses and even my blogs..
I haven't got any hit from delicious so far.
Since it is a nofollow,I can't find any link from delicious.
    So bad,but this is realm.
    For SEO, leave delicious.
Digg is the best for that.
