Hey all, I'm a pretty experienced PPCer, I have been doing PPC for about a year now and have achieved great results ($1000 per day, steady), but recently I've come to realize that it's time for me to make the switch to SEO (which was already my goal). I actually dropped out of school to do this full time and it's been a pretty crazy ride but I have decided that I should finish up my degree. -My profits have shrinked significantly -The PPC industry itself seems to be heading for a nosedive in lieu of the recent developments -I want to go back to school part time and do something that doesn't take up as much time -I've got a lot of capital to invest and this seems like a good way to invest it Never so much as tried any SEO projects at this point but I do know a little about it. So, anyone out here have some offer they would like me to promote, feel free to contact me (aim: affmonster), My goal is to generate $1000 by the end of march with SEO sites, and I'll be using this thread to update my progress in this field.
That is good, but you are using PPC as a model of traffic generation, and SEO is not that directly comparable. SEO produces organic search engine result rankings and can produce increased rankings in result pages, but unless click throughs happen and people buy, it is also subject to all the vagrants and quandaries as afflicting PPC.
I'll be using the SEO model, so I guess I'm starting from scratch. But I do believe a lot of what I've learned in the PPC market will help me out either way.
