Selling Experienced Administrator/Moderator

    Past experiences?:
    I've had over a decade worth of experience as a forum administrator on almost every forum software available. I'm a little rusty with IPB, but I'm up to date with Vbulletin, and I'm an active member of Xenforo's support forum. With that said I know Xenforo the best. I have owned my own forums for years and made them active in mostly the niches of anime, gaming, politics, and movies. I've been a moderator and super moderator at a bunch of sites in the past too although these we're all anime related - but moderating is moderating no matter where you go. I have extensive knowledge in SEO that I've built up over the years. Over the years I've made all of the forum themes I've used, I am not good enough to code new themes, but I can take existing themes and make them entirely different - I just need a foundation to work with. I'd say I'm fairly decent at graphic design - I do use photoshop. I am currently a Administrator at a political board (I don't own this one) and I am the Founding Administrator at a gaming board called Between Gaming.

    Forum software you're familiar with?
    I've used most of the popular names. I'm best with Xenforo and Vbulletin. I have used IPB but I may be rusty. PHPBB, SMF, MYBB are all free systems I have used in the past.


    How large, and busy, was the last forum you (helped) manage(d)?
    Fairly busy. My own anime community, AnimeTower, had over 6K members before I shut it down in 2008. The political board I run now has about 500 very active members - anyone who has done politics know those types like to fight and flame so that's a tough one. My Gaming community, although just starting up after a hibernation period, has 1K members. I'm used to big, active, and fast moving forums.


    What is your moderation/administration style?:
    I'm very fair and understanding. I would rather fix a problem then make it worse. I infract and ban only when no alternatives are left; I'd rather verbally work out the issue if possible. I do a lot of support for the forum if a member is having a problem or has a question. I work with the rules of the board. I believe the Administrators/Moderators should be visible and active in their communities and should have a working network with the members of the board. I am easy to talk to and I don't mind members making me their friend, or messaging me, etc - however when I need to be tough the gloves are off. I do not play favorites. I might be a bit of a perfectionist.


    Area of expertise?:
    Managing Moderators, Managing Users, Keeping the Peace (lol), enforcing the rules, and creating a fun discussion environment for all.

    I also have a campfirenow account for live staff meetings, I share this with any board I work with for free.


    Why are you offering your time to someone?:
    I'm broke, and honestly in this economy who isn't? I do whatever it takes to make ends meet and since I have these skills I see no reason to not make them available.

    I am only interested in English speaking forums. I am active duty air force, but I work the night shift, so I end up having a ton of time. Please only contact me with paid offers.
