Got pitched again by these people who have a decent enough offer for not too much money. They even design the ad for you.

A 6cm wide by 4cm high colour ad appears in on or more of these: The Mail On Sunday The Sunday Times The Sunday Telegraph The Observer The Independent On Sunday - mostly the Sunday add-ins.

Can any of you share any experience on ROI? Traffic, orders etc.?

One of the reviews was from a site that trebled their traffic thanks to the advert.

By the looks of it the traffic can't have been much to start with.

I am going to be using it, however in another way. I am just going to have a "It's h-e-re" (Don't want users to be able to search, the "-" would not be in the advert) advert without telling the people what it is, I think something has to stand out or no one will notice it. However I think PPC is still best in most website areas.

Their (highstreetspecs) ticket values struck me as low, they'd need a lot of orders to get their £300 or so back. I've got some products I'd need half a dozen enquiries to recoup that.

Most of those testimonials didn't say much useful actually so I was hoping to get some real feedback here!

    They keep spamming me.

    I never deal with spammers.
