I signed up for PPP today as an advertiser to try it out. I saw several opportunities that were $2.50 and I figured I'd be willing to pay $2.50 for a bunch of people to make a comment (good or bad) about my site on their blog. Once I tried to make the offer I saw that they had raised the minimum amount you can bid to $4.00. I'm going to wait and think about it because from the blogs I looked (from people in the forum) I'm not convinced it would be worth $4.00 yet. As an advertiser I think the $4.00 minimum is a little high. A free market system would seem to work better where people pay what it is worth to them and bloggers decide if it is worth their time or not. I guess it makes sense if they only allow 3 posts per day, that they want to keep bloggers coming back and they are unlikely to do it for $7.50 each day. Maybe I'll look at them later on, but for now it seemed too high for the quality of the blogs I was seeing linked to on the forum.
I would not write anything for $4 dollars, but I guess it's maybe worth it if your in a nation where the dollar is very strong. Reviewme just launched which pay's much, much better and attracts some higher traffic brand name blogs here's my review of them.
I agree. As a blogger, I'm starting to gravitate away from any posts less than $6. They're just not worth my time
Not really. I was just curious and wasn't going to post anything but somebody requested me after about 10 minutes so it would be rude to say no. Add quite a few tags is the best suggestion.
There haven't been too many great opportunities through PPP lately, so I signed up for ReviewMe today. I plan on working directly with a few advertisers in the future too so that will help things on my end.
actually it's getting really bad right now, i'm hoping it picks up a little, and soon. I haven't taken an opportunity in a little while now...
You must mean the blog posts. Although the $200 Rube Goldberg contraption video may be enticing to some...
