Anyone use maxbounty? I was a member for a few days, then i cancelled my account. I get a friend of mine to sign up through my link for one of those "free iphone sites" (the user just has to fill in their email for you to get paid $1.00). I just wanted to see if it would work (if i would get paid). It didn't work. So I tried myself from a different computer the next day, and then got another friend to sign up for a couple different sites like that. Didn't get credited EVEN ONCE! I know sometimes the tracking wouldnt work due to the cookies being turned off or something, but if it wasn't working for me 4 out of 4 times, then I'm not doing it. I emailed my AM but she told me that if there was a problem someone else would have mentioned it. I told her to cancel my account, haha.
wow ! first time i saw a negative post in Max bounty....back in last year i thought of joining them... lucky me never join...
I haven't heard many complaints about them. But saying that "if there was a problem somebody else would have mentioned it" is not an answer. If I ever get that kind of reply (and I have) I dump that network immediately.
Reading posts like this is always a great way to start the day. Mohammed, just because you didn't see a lead when you tested the campaign, or your buddy, it doesn't mean tracking was broken. I think what your AM meant was that if other pubs are seeing leads (which was the case), there's no tracking error in place. Leads were being generated by other pubs, so tracking was indeed working. Most likely, you simply didn't match the criteria for what the merchant defines as a lead. Perhaps they're not accepting leads from your IP, maybe your address already exists in their files, maybe you used a banned keyword in your email test sign up, maybe you used a dot com they disallow... there are many variations on how a merchant defines a lead and most of these rules aren't reported to publishers to limit fraudulant sign ups. Based on his post, I presume you're green to the business M? If you've got a beef with MaxBounty, you're certainly in for a rough ride with other networks. You might want to consider building a relationship with a network instead of slagging them after trying a few clicks to a campaign to two.
Hi jp, are you the manager? or maybe the boss of maxbounty ? i am curious...becoz u the only person who is not negative
I use MaxBounty and I think they're great. Havent had any problems except for the downtime they had recently but I got compensation for that.
MAxbounty sucks i think,i applied 2 times and got rejected both the times, not sure that they are looking for.
MaxBounty is a good reliable company. This guy is just trying to get money for sending crap leads which he shouldn't be paid for anyways. End of story.
I wasnt' trying to "get money for seding crap leads" I was TESTING. T E S T I N G. have u heard of it? If u read some of the other posts, you'll see that other people also had similar problems, one person AFTER spending $100.00. so you see, tesing IS important. and in response to JP Suave, I agree that the tracking may have been working, but my point was that if 4 out of 4 of my attempts were not valid, then imagine how many leads I may have sent them which also might not have been valid. But I appreciate your view.
I m using mb from more than a year. But never got any problem. I think its may be due cokies problem. or you filled the form another computer but with same ip (same internet connection) or may be the offer you choosed is not targted to your area.
