What methods do you use to convert incoming traffic into sales? Also is building your own website the best place to start for drop shipping or going the ebay/amazon route?

The trouble with dropshipping and using services like Doba, Salehoo etc. is that you will face a huge competition selling the very same products. Margins usually are rather slim than acceptable unless you can find a very good niche with very little competition.

    Hi
With drop shipping I think you can make money but at the same time you have to be careful on what company you go with. Me my self I believe this is a much better site as far as making money faster on ebay or your website. I have had much better luck with that website over anything else I have found. If you would like to know the URL is just drop me a line and I will send it to you. But There is also other ways to make money online If you do not think that site will help you or is not a good fit for you email me and I would glad to help. I am sure I can help you start making money online.

    Thanks
    Randy

You can absolutely make money dropshipping. I do. I find niche products, make a sales page better than any other currently online, and throw traffic at it.

You are right you can but having a ebay business is no different then starting a store down the street. You have to look at other business like wal-mart. I would bet wal-mart does not use a drop shipper. Now there nothing wrong with drop shipping how ever your cutting your profit down. There much better ways to make money with ebay other then drop shipping. What I have learn with drop shipping is I had to work harder to make a good living with that. I have found a much better way to make money online and it a lot faster and products are at great price. But that just me if you are making enough money per month then all I can really say is good job and I am sure you earn it. I would post the site but it will not let me do it on here. So drop me a email at and I would be glad to give it to you.

Ok here is a tidbit of info that will help you reach your online e-commerce goals and keep a fat profit in your pocket. After you find a reliable dropshipper and set up your auctions and BIN's on eBay.

    1. DO NOT TRY TO BECOME THE LOWEST SELLER OF WHATEVER PRODUCT YOU ARE SELLING. That is just plain stupid. You can't win, because most of you are not manufacturers or suppliers. This is why so many people get frustrated and quit. "I can't compete, I can't get a lower price from my dropshipper. I can't do free shipping, etc." QUIT COMPLAINING & belly aching. That is how product become devalued.

PICK THE RETAIL PRICE OF THE ITEM AND LIST IT FOR THAT!!!

Some are going to argue. Why will shoppers pick me? I am the highest priced item on the page?

    WELL HERE IS WHY!!!

    2. Remember you don't know what is going through the mind of the shopper or how they shop. Some are happy to pay retail prices for legit merchandise.

    3. Remember that eBay is a constantly changing environment, the listings are never the same and change every minute. Listings are sold and expire giving you room to shine.

    4. Its a numbers game if list high you have wiggle room, if you list low you won't even cover you fees.

    5. If anything you get BEST OFFERS for your item and 8 out of 10 times it will be an offer that you are willing to accept.

These are just a few bits of knowledge that WILL help your make a profit. Bottom line is stop selling yourself, your products and your business short. Good luck.
