For the people who use adsense on static websites, how are your earnings compared to adsense on dynamic websites? All my sites have been dynamic and I want to see if trying a static website would be worth my time and money to create.
Regarding Adsense - there's no differnece what so ever whether the site is static or dynamic (I'm assuming that what you meant by dynamic vs. static was that dynamic = blogs and such and static = pages you don't update that often.) Adsense provides ads based on your site's content and you're fine as long as your content (whether static or dynamic) attracts high-paying ads. A completely different matter is SERPs though. Generally speaking (this isn't always the case) it's far easier to optimize a page that gets updated frequently. Firstly, this gives you the luxury of having Googlebot lurk around your site once a day or even more often, secondly - with a blog-type site you can do a lot of keyword-related experiments etc. But at the end of the day you should go with what fits best for the specific site/niche and yourself.
Good question I have been long waiting to see whether someone asks this question My experience is very opposite to what others or guru's portray I have seen that static html pages perform better with adsense Dynamic pages do get clicks and earnings, but way too low when compared with static pages My personal experience and i started using static pages more hence
Well, i have both static and dynamic site, and i will say not much different on adsense earning. As long as you are doing a great job, then you earn good money
I use adsense on both dynamic php database driven sites, and static html sites. I see nothing out of the ordinary that says one is better than the other. I would assume that it would mostly depend on what your topic or niche is in particular. As it's been discussed many times some topics and niche's are more valuable than others. So do some exploring and finding one that has a higher rate could potentially make it appear to do better than a dynamic site. Also if one has more traffic than the other it would appear to do better because more traffic generally means more clicks. Only drawbacks or dislikes I have with static html pages is it's a pain to make a simple change to the site or template layout. If you have 50 pages, you have to go and edit or make the changes on all 50 pages. Unless you have one of them fancy expensive programs like dreamweaver or something.
