Hope this is the right spot for this thread.
I am looking for another advertising solution for my site. Came accross "180Solutions" from MetricsDirect. They don't tell you what the cost/conditions are upfront on their site. Anybody out there who has experience with them?
Also came across the following article on the web which makes me a bit hesitant about dealing with the company:

180Solutions, also MetricsDirect, sends out spyware popups. Not a quality thing when your dealing with customers (not sure Id buy from a site that just popped up on my screen after a search.)

Personally; if I come across a site that can't give prices on their site; I stay away from them.

I don't think you can judge by this - many sites simply want the opportunity for an account manager to make you their pitch. So they can differentiate themselves from their competitors.

I do think if 180 uses spyware that you'd best stay away - at some point these companies are going to be on an attorney's radar. Class action = out of business.

Beware and read Ben's article in detail, plus do a Google search for that company and you will find lots of negatives.

Primarily they are reported to pop on sites and over-write the rightful affiliates code and take credit for the sale. Please don't help to propagate the spread of parasites. It hurts everyone's income and could come back to bite your commissions from other sources.

I tried them out 2 years ago.

    It's low quality traffic.

however, they used to give a 100$ credit when opening an account. I spent 20$, cancelled my account, and they gave me 80$ credit ;) so it might worth it! hehe
