Hello guys one of my site have six Back Links from pr 5 sites and four BL's from pr4 sites and there are few 3 and twos as well so what would be my pr on prupdate as it is 3 now? three pr 5 links added after pr update i got more pr 5 BL's then six but of same site like site.com and site.com/links.html but i am not counting that cause i think that would be counted as one pr5
I doubt you can make the equation that simple. This is another of those questions where anyone that does comment is really just guessing.
Relevancy also comes into play. What is the anchor text for the backlinks and is your site optimized for that text?
Well with 'G' it can only be anecdotal: One of my pages stedily increased to a PR6. Most backlinks were with anchor text which was my page title. Trying to over target keywords, I changed the title and <H1> tag only slightly. Next update, this page dropped to a PR3. I quickly changed back to original title and <H1> and 3 mo later, at the next update, back to PR6. This is what I mean by page relevancy.
That is not entirely true. This would be fairly easy to prove or disprove. Simply create a new page with a title like "here I am" and have the content of the page simply say "Here I am". Now link to this new page from a PR3 or above page and wait and see what PR Google assigns it in the following update. You will find that PR rating is a product of linking and has nothing to do with on-page factors.
Agreed, Otherwise serps would be displayed in PR order. As for your orginal question. There is no way to make an accurate prediction. So heres a general one: It is very unlikely you will be a 10,9,8,7,6. Which leaves you 0-5. 5 is fairly unlikely. I would go for 2 and hope for 3 or 4. Although it is kind of arbitary. - this is not supposed to be accurate. It is dependent on the number of backlinks, quality of backlinks, number of links on each page etc.. If all those 5s are just short of 6 and all the 4s just short of 5 then that will give you a higher PR than if they are all at the low end of the scale. There are too many factors to consider. Dont waste your time. Just keep building quality content and linking to it. Spend your time worrying about your rankings/ revenue if anything.
