expected nr of visitors based on #1 spot in google?

    Even if you would have exact numbers of how much times is searched and what's the usual CTR for no.1 spot for that term you can't make the right estimation because it all depends on the title and description of your website because it might be more or less appealing than the other listings.

    I think this is a quite good estimation. Then there's of course key word variations and longer keyphrases which might get you some extra visitors.
