    Hello to everybody.

Before introducing the reasons, why I decided to register to Digital Point, I will tell you a little bit about my background, which is strictly technical. I have been working in the IT industry for ten years, and my specialty is software development with JEE platform. This means that I get my hands dirty with programming, architecture design and documenting activities on a regular basis. I have not been particularly interested in search engine optimization, but I have reached the point, where I wanted to expand my horizons by trying to learn something totally different.

Thus, I decided to register to DP Forums. I hope that I might learn a thing or two about search engine optimization and marketing at the internet. Due to the fact that I am expected to write a lot of technical documentation in my daily work, I hope that I might improve my writing skills as well.

I guess that was my two cents about myself.

Of course. I chose Expanging My Horizons as a title of my introduction from a special reason. I have kind of grown out of the belief that using cool new technologies and solid architecture while building web based software will make you successful. Even though that does not hurt to have fun while developing, and a solid architecture is a must for any piece software, it does not matter if no one else cannot found what you have created. That is a lesson, which in my opinion should be taught to every engineer out there.
