Why don't you sort of be like your own football commentator and post commentary about each match along with the videos? It's only something little but it will increase your content
Perhaps look at putting something on your site for soccer coaching schools? Very big market especially to kids maybe a free ebook of the best ones that produced premiership players? Then build a list and market outside of your site with other stuff.
Why don't you try Infolinks or Kontera to increase your income. It works. Maybe do an experiment on your blog by putting the code. You can also try paid posts. Google alone won't give you much. Not sure too with affiliate products.
I was thinking about these too.. But, I am not very good in writing. Perhaps, I should look for someone to rewrite the content.
