ExoClick PPC fraud?

I ran a quick ppc test campaign through a re-seller to see if I could buy some bulk discounted targeted traffic for an affiliate referral site I own. I didn't know ExoClick was the source provider until it showed up on my Analytics report as "main.exoclick.com / referral".

At first glance the traffic looked legitimate. It was nearly all from the US and Canada (as requested) and the US traffic showed it as originating from 49 of 50 states from multiple ISPs.

What didn't make sense though was that Analytics also showed nearly all of the traffic (98%) was using Internet Explorer and that the clicks I did receive were almost perfectly evenly distributed across the links on my landing page (which is very uncharacteristic of my organic and AdWords ppc traffic). As expected, I also didn't get a single sale which is also very uncharacteristic given the traffic count to my affiliate links.

Anyway, I'm now 99.99% convinced that everything the campaign delivered was click fraud. Given the source provided by Analytics, I don't think the re-seller was the guilty party. I was wondering if anyone else has had any similar problems with ExoClick? Or perhaps I'm wrong and it was the reseller who was responsible for the fraud? :(

Interesting! A wonderfully planned and performed fraud via an automatic system. I have never heard about it before.
