I don't know - if they ask for the full URL most people usually take that as meaning http://example.com.

Well that again doesn't sound right.... Exoclick should validate the URL you put in and if its invalid in any way should alert you and force you to change it.

Would be interesting to get a reply here from the Exoclick rep.

I went through the same kinda thing. My analytics only shows a few clicks from their network but I was charged for 102 clicks....not looking good. BTW I also have a "heatmap" installed on my site and it doesn't look good at all.

Hmm... I've seen that before from some shady PPC places.

LordBP, as I answered to you, no traffic got to your site because the URL you entered was not valid. And as I told you, this never happened to any advertiser before. However, we will add check on the URL to try avoiding this kind of problems.

Our publishers have been paid on these clicks and can't be blamed for this.

I do understand your disapointment and that's what I proposed you a load bonus.

It is the advertiser's responsibility to make sure the URL provided is correct but at the same time the PPC should have checks in place to ensure this kind of thing doesn't happen because it just leaves a sour taste in everyones mouth.

These kind of issues can be avoided completely with the right validation.

SFOD_D223, what is your Exoclick username?

We dedicate a lot of time on traffic monitoring and traffic quality. If you contact our support, they will be glad to have a look at your account.

Also, you have to know Analytics is a heavy JS code that will not count all your traffic. A quick search on Google will confirm you that.
    E.g. http://www.webmasterworld.com/analytics/3227679.htm

Server logs is the most accurate source of data for your traffic.

    Hi

    Agreed With exoclick .

No stats can be accurate .

IF someone click on link before full page load & js is not run that is not counted.

    Thanks

I signed up with exoclick this week, both as an advertiser and a publisher. Certainly can't complain so far. I guess the fact that they are willing to take Poker related sites is a bonus to me over Adwords for a start. I get the impression that the bulk of their publishers currently are in the US, where I am trying to target customers outside of the US, but being relatively new I'm sure there will be more and more publishers coming on board. They certainly seem ok to me for now, both as a publisher and a advertiser.

I'm interested in ExoClick but these 2 cent clicks times 50% bother me. 1 cent a click on converted traffic barely covers hosting expenses on a dynamic website.

Are there any reports of people earning more than 2 cents a click?

I just started using them to test it out and see if it was a good option.

4 days of use and my sites and ads have produced 22 clicks and I have made 27 cents. :(

so far, I am not impressed at all but I am hoping those numbers will go up. I will report back if my experience changes.

The small time I ran the service I saw nothing greater than 2 cents a click.
