hi i signed up with exoclick to try out a cheap ppc campain i set it only to recieve 100 clicks on firdt day to check out system i recieved 121 click according to the stats they gave me but when i look at my stat counter says i recived 68 uniques with only 120 page loads most "visitors" were from russia/turkey and stayed on my site less than 5 seconds is this click fraud ? am i being ripped off? what should i do about this? thanks for any help on this matter Lee
I sometimes advertise with them too and I also get 95% Russian/Turkey clicks. Other than the poor quality traffic I don't think I've been ripped off by them, so I think you've just been unlucky. If you pay peanuts you get moneys, as they say!
I never do - it's worthless to me. It seems like the default setting - if you don't say otherwise it's what you get.
ok my bad i had it set to geo setting everywhere but the geo set up on exoclick is wierd is it the highlighted or un highlighted that i am promoting to ? i want just usa canada uk austraila ireland and NZ which way should i select from the list?
Yeah, their advertiser's dashboard is a bit... what's the word?... shite! When you click to select one country you deselect the others you had highlighted. To get around this you'll have to hold the CTRL key as you scroll down clicking the desired countries.
i had a very bad experience with them, bad admin panel, very bad stats, i spent about $200 to promote game, according to my data, they sent me only half of what i see in their stats, and then when i sent them an email they replied exactly 15 days later telling me they will look into it then another email in about 10 days with just blabla. very bad support, you can't wait 15 days to reply to a message if you are working in a serious company, i didnt get what i paid for, as an advertiser i had a better experience with adengage and adbrite.
thats called pop up advertising, not clicks. this means that they pop your ads up on turkish / russian sites with high traffic, and ur pop ups gets closed within 5 seconds. same sh$t as other popup networks.
