    Hi

This is my first post here.

    I have 2 questions:

    1. can I use google product name as a part of my domain name , like
adwords or AdSense or ant other product ?

    2. My site was on my sub domain on and existing domain I have, the web has been developed and deserve a domain of his own.
The sub domain was xxx-yyy.mydomain.com, but now when I want to register the the domain name xxx-yyy.com is available but the xxxyyy.com is registered and have lot of traffic.
My question is does it matter ? does the domains related some how because the same keywords ?

Hope you can put some light on the subject

    Thanks
    flashi

I think what you re asking is will the hyphen mess anything up correct?

My answer would be no as long as when you move it you let existing members or whatever know you are doing this. And maybe redirect the subdomain to the new domain.

Make sure the site is precisely the same and has all the same tags and everything and you should be fine.

There are others here who know a lot more then I though. So you might want to wait and see what they have to say.

I guess you did not understood my question so I will try to explain

I wrote a blog on AdSense and put it a sub domain in that address:

    http://ultimate-adsense.xtraez.com

because it's getting bigger i thought it is the time to move it to a domain of it own.

When I checked ultimateadsense.com I found out it taken and selling some product.

So, I wanted to ask if I would register ultimate-adsense.com with and hyphen does google will think it's the website as the one without the hyphen ?

I will happy to hear you thoughts .

    Thanx, Flashi

No Google bot crawls content not site name. A lot of sites out there with same name only thing different is hyphens.
