karan44 you need to have at least 25 posts already on dp and then you can post there. activation may take up to 1 hour. read the rules
you can also try out your skills in the contest forums here on DP.. Heck there are literally thousands of design contests & freelance sites across the internet. Plenty of money out there for talented designers.
You also have to have been a member for 2 weeks before you can post in any of the trade forums...annoyingly i found this out earlier
