    Greetings,

I have a portfolio website http://inspirationsunlimited.co.in and i have installed script provided by GA for analytic purpose.

The problem is whenever I visit my live url GA tracks it and includes in the result. Oftenly I visit few pages which is been posted recently to view if everything is Okay. However everything is being tracked by GA and I am unable to determine the numbers of other visitors and pageviews.

So I googled and i found filter options-
1.To exclude by IP address : did not work quite well as I do not have fixed ip and it's an dynamic ip provided by host and it keeps on changing.

so, i went for 2nd option exclude traffic by Cookie Content: I followed each step mentioned here http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=55481 and exclude using custom filter however still my home ip is not being excluded.

Am I missing any bit? Appriciate any help pointing to the right direction.

    Thanks

Best is to Block Google Analytics using Adblock Plus or Host File Hack :D

But then No sites would track your visits using Analytics!!

Thanks. Do you mean if I visit "XYZ" site and and if they have GA code installed to track; they will not be able to track me?

I believe that GA already has a function for that. If you are in your Google account and then go to a site thats being tracked by analytics it will not record you.

Appreciate your time for looking into this, I don't know if you read it carefully
    - I do not have a fixed IP,
    - dyanmic IP assigned by my ISP
    - dynamic IP keeps changing and
    - I don't know the range of IPs.

    Thanks
