Exciting 3rd on MSN....

Fascinating!

One of my main keywords is #1 on msn for a few days now - yay... or not yay. Had not one hit from MSN lol. So I dunno.

Since my keyword tracker (the one from digitalpoint..) is not working I am wondering how many of you know so well what ranking they have on yahoo for example - I mean do you just type in your keyword and scroll down the list until you find yourself? On rank 673? This may sound stupid but are there more tracking tools (please only free ones - lol) that can help someone to keep track of that?

If there are no free ones - what would you recommend?

Please share the keyword that you number one for.

 

All three search engines seems to be using diffierent criteria to rank the page. So, it seems no one will be able to get number one position in all three search engines ?

 

I have a site that is on page one in all three but not quite number 1. I will let you know when I achieve that.

 

Answer: 20% more visitors is that a huge amount? no it's about 2 extra visitors per day...

Hrm. Its delivering over 2000 search hits a month for me. Not a complete lack of traffic in my book considering google is just above that (combining all their locations).

 

I think it depends on the search term. I have a site that was number one for a term that I thought was a big one but it only was bringing me 4 hits a month.

 

Well... NOTHING compared to Yahoo (I got a #1 and #4 on yahoo during July 20th update).

So MSN doesn't bring me anything serious.

 

i also have a 3rd place spot for one of my targetted keywords and msn has brought about 70 hits via it out of an overall 400
