I have received excessive spam comments from iearnmorethanyou.com and I am encouraging everyone to block the IP 209.97.198.95. What would you suggest I do, the spam is consistent. Any input would be appreciated.

Is 209.97.198.95 where the spam is coming from? Granted that's the ip address of where the site is hosted but if it's not the ip address of where the spam is coming from, it would be a worthless block.

Gotta admit that we've had rackforce gray listed for years. I'm also not seeing this in our spam queue. Have you sent an email to rackforce's abuse address?

As to what else you can do, it depends on where you;re seeing this spam. Are you running a forum? blog? photo gallery? Giving us more information would be helpful.

Good luck with that. I'd have to block a couple thousand IP's a day to stop all the spam.

If you use WordPress get Lester Chans free BAN Plugin.

    Hi there,

iearnmorethanyou.com is my blog - and I can guarantee you that not only have I never spammed anyone but that I have also almost never used it as my url when commenting on blogs; it'd have less than 100 links back from blogs in total.

Now, I'm quite sure that this thread is simply a response to my complaints about you spamming three weeks ago - but honestly, I don't care.

That particular blog has been very neglected of late and isn't going to be a pet project any time soon; just wanted to let you know that I'm calling you out on being full of shit.

Plus if I had actually spammed you, you'd have my real IP, not that of the server I host on. :p
