Excess keyword leads google dance?

I have a site which is dancing in google SERP.

I have noticed that I have used that keyword 35 times in my site. Is that a reason? But sometimes back I was on #2, then, when I hve added some links, I dropped to #14 and now on # 39.

I had got links from forums like DP. so, the pages from where I get links are not bad. So, I wonder.... when we add backlinks SERP used to move up, but here....

So, I doubt that is because of the excess keyword, is it? What do u guys think of it?

No certainly not,its just that your links dont have weight to hold your position.Forum links dont have much weight and most of them are nofollowed ones....so go for good quality links.

Your ranking will change continually. Best to NOT concentrate on it and just keep building links. consider it a long term project of building links you'll be fine.

I don't think it's because of too many target keywords. One factor to be blamed is "competition." Google dance happens a lot especially if your niche is too competitive. You need to build more quality links to outrank your competition.
