    Google could spot the strings googlebot and http_user_agent and whack you upside.

    I would split the strings somehow with javascript and then glue them back together with string combine. (Forgot the javascript syntax for this, sorry.)

    But actually, I wouldn't even bother with user agent cloaking. If you're gonna cloak, do it right. IP. But then, I never cloak, so what do I know.

    Wait no... I do cloak sometimes... but it's fumbling in the dark. Strong on the theory, weak on practice, that's me with cloaking :cool:

    How?

    They can not read PHP can they, and it is parsed before sent to the browser. How can G possibly see what's going on before the output is sent to them?

    Yea, cloaking (almost by definitiion) is done on the server-side, so the browser/spider never "knows" it is being served something else up unless it checks using another approach ...
