Hi all! I'm a 21 year old college student majoring in Computer Science with some music courses on the side. I'm Canadian and speak English as my native language - although my French is pretty decent as well. I know there's lots of competition on this forum when it comes to writing but I'm 100 % confident that you won't get better content for the prices I'm offering. Everything I write is done to a lexical and grammatical standard consistent with the expectations of my lecturers, i.e. anything I write for you will be written in such a way that if it were a graded assignment I would hand it in as is and expect a good grade. You won't have to worry about the awful grammar and spelling mistakes you'll get from less talented writers (especially those without English as their native language).

    Rates

My rate is $0.75 / 100 words currently and I'm available on weekends (far too much work this semester to do any writing during the weekdays :/).

Payment accepted via PayPal with 50 % paid in advance and the remaining 50 % due upon satisfactory completion but if your iTrader is high I can waive the down-payment requirement.

Rates and terms are somewhat negotiable so PM me and we'll see what can happen. Alternatively, you can email me at kaoticnick [at] hotmail [dot] com and/or add me on Skype : kaoticnick

The following articles are some that I wrote quite some time ago (since I haven't done any of this kind of writing for a few months) but I can assure you that the standard of my writing has not fallen since then. :)

    The Importance of Safe-guarding Data

In today’s technology-driven world, information can be a company’s most valuable asset. Consider the disastrous consequences that would result if Google, for example, were to lose all their data due to some unforeseen hardware fault or software glitch. The company would have to invest heavily in re-amassing its precious bank of data on websites across the web (that, indirectly, forms its sole income source).
To prevent such a disaster, it is probably safe to assume that Google implements rigorous back-up strategies to ensure that no such unfortunate event can damage their revenue stream. Is your website content worth any less to you? Would it be business as usual if malware wiped out your web server and destroyed valuable content? The reality is that data is vulnerable and – although technology is improving – too many webmasters learn the hard way that this industry is inherently flawed and prone to costly mistakes – particularly due to unscrupulous individuals.
For this reason, a linux backup plan for your web server is a step in the right direction for the security and longevity of your online presence.

    Insuring Against Catastrophic Data Loss

Data is precious. Content is what drives a website and, without it, most webmasters would fail. No content means no advertising revenue, affiliate earnings, and no sales. A hardware/software fault can cause less savvy webmasters to lose vast amounts of content – often requiring days, and weeks (during which time they probably see no earnings), to repair – if such a repair is even possible.
With this in mind, a linux backup of your most precious content – or even your entire website – might be in order. If spending hours on damage control after an accident sounds like time and money wasted, the decision is a simple one. A few dollars a month can ensure that you never have to worry about the security of your data. Rather, you can be content with the confidence that – should an accident occur – your website can be restored in a matter of minutes; thus avoiding lost visitors and potential search engine optimization drawbacks of having your site offline.

    Are backups really necessary?

This is a question asked by a lot of webmasters when faced with the suggestion of investment in back-ups. Many website owners still fail to see the critical importance of having a fail-safe plan to restore their websites as quickly as technologically possible in the event of a disaster.
The next question might be, “What kind of disaster?”. The possibilities are endless. A web server can be compromised by any of the following, (i) malware (ii) software glitch (iii) hardware failure such as a power outage or even a hard disk crash and (iv) unscrupulous hackers that wreck websites either for commercial gain or simply for their personal amusement. Any of these accidents could result in your entire website – and all its valuable content being wiped out; resulting in downtime and costing you money to replace.
This risk can be easily, and cheaply, avoided by investing in linux backups for your web server or its content. You can store a secure copy of your website – or any other valuable content – for a few dollars a month in a safer, more controlled environment than is possible with a web server; allowing you to easily restore in unforeseen data loss.

Well I think that's all I have to say... Hit me up if you're interested! :)
