Excel VBA Expert Wanted

    Hi,

    I need an excel guru to make some changes to an existing event calendar.

    See files here: http://www.web2.co.uk/excel/events-calendar.zip (Events Calendar.xls is the file that needs the work done to it)

    File is work in progress at the moment – all remaining month sheets will be added. File needs to be future proof, i.e. can be used for 2010 without too may changes.

    File will be stored on a sharepoint site to be used by several users all running windows xp and excel 2003, file must be suitable for use with excel 2007 as well.

    Work to be done on ‘Events Calendar.xls’ file:

    1) ‘Copy date/ cut off date’ cell from month sheets e.g. ‘Jan’ , ‘Feb’ to be a pop up calendar that will work ideally without any extra add ins as file will be used by several users (I have attempted at creating a pop up calendar myself which needs to be improved). Option needs to be available for ‘TBC’ where date is not known and also date range to be selected for events that happen over several dates.

    2) ‘Copy date/ cut off date’ cell value from month sheets needs to be linked to calendar on 2009 sheet so that
    - date chosen is automatically shaded on calendar to same colour as ‘Sector’ cell
    - value of ‘Activity’ cell is added automatically as a comment to the date
    - if possible date on calendar on ‘2009’ sheet hyperlinks to relevant ‘Activity’ cell on month sheets
    - when row is removed shading and comments to be removed from calendar

    3) Order of events on calendar to be automatically arranged in date order after event has been entered on month sheets

    4) ‘Sales Contact’ , ‘Approvers’ and ‘Marketing PR Contact’ cells to have individual drop down list boxes (source for lists in ‘lists’ sheet) that allow multiple values to be entered into same cell as dropdown list
    - Any values entered that are not in list to be added to drop down list in alphabetical order (example.xls file shows similar function required)
    (I have made a start on this on ‘Sales Contact’ column but needs to be improved and work as described above)

    5) Allow the addition of additional sector categories with corresponding colours from the lists tab

    6) Tidy up any existing code that has been used in the file to be more efficient if possible

    If there are any points above that are very difficult to do, let me know and we may be able to come up with a compromised way of doing it.
