I've been using Amazon as an affiliate for many years, and even though I've been writing reviews, content, linking here and there, using widgets, banners, etc, I still can't get the conversions to go through. There was once a small increase when the Kindle first came out a few years ago, but as it stands, this month, only 8 items purchased, even though I've been writing what I deem is high quality content. What are you guys doing to make it work? My main amazon sites are: http://sirjorge.net http://casketsalesman.blogspot.com http://skateboarcrap.blogspot.com http://scaryfilm.blogspot.com http://sirjorge.net/recordsurplus Not sure what to do. Maybe you guys have some sites that are doing better, share some tips? I dunno.
So no one that's read the above has a site they make money with? that are willing to share it? Am I to believe I'm the only one making a go at amazon affiliates with real blogs that I dare show?
Sharing blogs that don't make money is nothing but not many people will share sites earning on a regular basis with other marketers. Also, looking at your sites you have too much clutter and too many ads. You're also targeting a super saturated niche. While I won't disclose my sites you should know that the sites I own that sell that most are targeting mundane items with few or no reviews on Amazon that are mostly impulse buys.
