Well, I don't know if the term "highly adsense optimized site" sounds correct, but I think it pictures my idea pretty well.. So.. If you stumbled upon a site that made you think it had a highly CTR optimized adsense ads placement, please post it here. I'm sure lots of newbies (that term "partly" includes me) would like to see them and learn. Or maybe you're an adsense optimizer god yourself. Let us see your work of art! Thanks
About.com is a premium publisher, so they're not a very good example for those looking to optimize their AdSense placement and overall design. I actually don't like About.com's advertising layout (or the site).
I find about.com dreadful to navigate. They have a lot of info out there but it's too hard to follow. You get a small paragraph of info & then have to click related links. Maybe it's just me, but whenever I find myself on an about.com page I hit the back button immediately. There was another thread about this recently. I can't remember where it was, but there were some great links to websites with Adsense, I picked up quite a lot from checking these sites out.
