"Example" Type Threads ...

I have noticed an increase in the number of "Example" type threads. Are the posters trying to bump their post counts by posting random example code? I understand some may be trying to help, but it creates a lot of "noise". Does anyone have any comments or is it just me?

If I am not wrong, you are talking about code snippets posted by users, OR you are talking about the meaningless replies ?

I was referring to the numerous random code snippet posts, but I agree that there are many meaningless replies all over the place. This is true of all forum communities, so it is to be expected. I was just wondering if other members had noticed the increase. Thanks.
