I'm sure this forum is full of smart educated people who can help me solve this issue: Exactly same website, with multiple service areas. Each area is tailored to that specific location. Other that that, the content is identical. Exactly same AdWords set-up: keywords, ads, etc. Bids are adjusted though. Much higher in the area that is not working well. Results: areas with lower bids (Atlanta & DC) are booming. NY: getting clicks, but NO CALLS OR FORM SUBMISSIONS. What might the problem be? The only problem that I can think of would be the content that does not trigger a call, but... the content is IDENTICAL!!! It's impossible that the website works extremely well in DC & Atlanta, and does not work at all in NY. Or, is it? ...
Have a look at thw competition in New York - the answer may well be that those visitors have seen another site that offers the same thing you do - but at a better price, better offer etc
Its common if your campaigns target by population density. People in different region has different lifestyle. For instance in NY people may tend to surf on the web more and look for different varieties as there are much more choices. Another area with lower population density people may have less choices. So your audiences are more targeted. Kind of like in big city you can go to different restaurant everyday (more people may walk by your restaurant, but not many would walk in). In smaller town maybe breakfast / coffee shop is the only place you can go to.
Can you post some stats on the following for both campaigns (for Last 7 days or Last 30 days)? Clicks | Impressions | CTR | Avg Position (Do not post CPC or Avg CPC) Campaign 1 Campaign 2
