Hello Mate!! I just want to know when I create a campaign for new website which keyword matching method are helpful for new website to run successfully from the beginning. Many thanks.
You should use Keyword tool, add yourself few keywords and then let google choose keywords that match them with your landing page and your targeted google site (.com, .hr, .co.uk, .in, etc). Then add those keywords to your ad groups, edit ads, and voila, you have your first campaign ready to launch.
Thanks for replying but the question is which keyword method useful for new campaign such as broad match, broad match modifier, phrase match or exact match?
It is totally depends upon the size of your campaign and your knowledge in PPC. IF you are beginner and want to explore PPC for a new website, i strongly recommend going with exact or phrase match keywords. If the campaign is large and you are targeting 1000s of keywords, you must go with broad match keywords. Important note: whenever you go with broad match, make sure you add maximum negative keywords to avoid non-relevant clicks.
Hi, May be I'm not going with more than 200 keywords. So I'll be used phrase match keywords. Thanks for advice me.
i personally think it depends on the niche and your knowledge of it. If you are unsure of the best keywords, i recommend going with Broad and Broad modifier (+). Once you gain confidence and conversions, add them as exacts.
It depends. The company I worked at previously relied heavily on broad searches for their traffic. However, that said, their conversion rates weren't great. My current company tries to balance, and we have a higher conversion rate. So, it all depends on what you're trying to achieve.
I believe broad phrase are easy to rank, but brings limited traffic (depends on how broad the keyword is and the niche you are working). It is better to start with broader phrase than go for the exact keyword (which usually has more competition). But to be smart, include your exact keywords also into your broader phrase to target at later stage of your SEO campaign. e.g. Exact Match: Florist in New York Broader Phrase: "Online Florist in New York" or "Buy Flowers from Best Florist in New York"
If you know which keyword will give you result then use those keywords as a Exact Match keywords and if you are not aware about this then go for broad match keywords with negative keywords. Broad match may result in some clicks which will really not be useful for your business where adding a negative keyword list will safe you from invalid or unnecessary clicks.
